To inculcate the principles of humanity and to take on the dreams, aspirations and expectations of student of not only Mithilanchal region but from whole State- D.B.K.N College Narhan is the sole institute to realize the dream.
The Institute has a legacy of more than fifty two years. The college imparts teaching up to Graduate level in Science, Commerce and Arts. Along with these courses, the college has a vibrant unit of NSS to groom our students into disciplined and patriotic citizens. The college has a magnificent past. It was established in the year 1970. This is the 52th year of its existence. It is witness of a huge change in education and a landmark Centre for empowerment in past five decades in our country. It owned the responsibility to attain a voyage for wonderful journey of students for not only excelling in the academic leadership but to regain the respect and proper societal recognition.

Our endeavor has been to contribute to higher education not only by enabling students to get a degree in Science, Commerce and Arts, but also by developing in them the ability to think creatively and articulate their thoughts with confidence and conviction.

very short span of time, it has become a favorite learning destination and alternative educational place for many parents and their beloved children. It gives me immense pleasure to state that College has state of art laboratories, ICT enabled class rooms, Wi-Fi campus, seminar hall, well maintained Library and sprawling sports field with lush green area and well maintained departments. In short, it is equipped with every facility with one name.
Today D.B.K.N College,Narhan has emerged as an Institute of Excellence and a model college for student due to its continuous efforts to remain in the cutting edge of competency and knowledge. The college has not only continued its academic pursuit by producing high quality students and research, but also expanded into various extra-curricular activities to become a comprehensive centre of quality education. Many District and state level events are successfully organized to impart wide exposure to our students. All departments are actively involved in various seminars, workshops, and quiz to provide all round exposure and development of students. D.B.K.N College is a jewel in the crown of Lalit Narayan Mithila University, being one of the oldest Constituent College and the best known institution under the University umbrella.
